What do I need to do before I first use my Ceramax?
Just remove all the pakaging and give your Ceramax a quick clean and you're ready to cook!
How do I cook with my Ceramax?
Plug in your Ceramax and choose from the two power settings – low (150°C) or high (180°C). Use high to quickly sear meats, fry veg or boil pasta/rice. Use low for soups, stews, porridge, eggs or anything that needs a little longer to cook.
How do I clean the inside of my Ceramax?
You can clean the cooking surface with a sponge dipped in warm, soapy water. Don't use any abrasive cleaners on any of the surface. Do not submerge in water or put in the dishwasher.
How do I clean the outside of Ceramax?
The outside of the Ceramax can be cleaned with a damp cloth and air dried.
How do I clean the Steam Basket and Glass Lid?
The Steam Basket and Glass Lid are both dishwasher safe or can be washed by hand with warm, soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge.
Can I make or reheat sauces, soups or leftovers in the Ceramax?
Yes, Ceramax is the perfect place to quickly reheat leftovers. We recommend using the low setting for this purpose and stirring regularly.
Can I shut the Ceramax off at any time?
Yes to turn the power off or stop cooking, simply switch off at the plug socket.
Does the Ceramax need time to heat up?
Yes but it takes only a matter of seconds to reach cooking temperature. After choosing your power setting, you will be ready to start cooking in no time.
