Shallow omelette trays don't match the photos
I had high hopes for this. My other cheapo omelette maker is brilliant, but you can't remove the plates so cleaning is a pain. This one looked fab, with removeable plates - easy cleanup... So I read the book, and then prepped all my ingredients and proceeded to make my first omelette in the 5 Minute Cleverchef Deluxe - noting that I had to use less of my usual ingredients, but even the amount I used was too much, so I had a right mess to clear up, and a rubbery overflow of egg outside the oval. The lid pushed up, I pushed it back down, several times. Also, it took 13 minutes, not 5, from start to finish. If I use it again, I realise I will have to make what feel look like a child-sized omelette compared to what I usually make... and then another, to get a meal the size of my cheapo omelette maker (which I was going to bin, but will not be binning now).
I hope the grill function will be better, when I eventually use it. I don't need the waffle plates, not something I'll ever make. It does look good, and seems to be well made, just the design is flawed and I wish they would remove the photos showing a deeper tray – looks twice as deep in the photos, which is another reason I chose this, it looked like it could handle an adult-sized omelette. Ho hum.

Great product just not for me
This is a great product for a single person or couple with a busy lifestyle and limited living space. I've no doubt the record shown on the advert taste great and the inference is there are more to be had via the app but I couldn't see much beyond what the advert shows.
I figured it would be great for me to prepare little meals without using the air fryer at home but it's not worth the effort in my living situation. So I returned the product, unused, after unpacking it and looking at it. I'm not convinced the one I received wasn't a return so I packed it back as I found it, with one set of plates assembled in the product.
I am now concerned, as I have received no word from D&C/HSTV regarding my refund. I hope they will address this in the coming days as I have already kept my part of the T&Cs bargain by returning it unused. SORT IT OUT, GUYS!

Great Little Machine
Having bought the original 5 minute Clever Chef and enjoyed cooking with it so much, I've now bought the deluxe version. So far I haven't yet tried either the grill or waffle plates, but early days and I know I will use them.
I think these machines are so good and I'd recommend them to others. It's so quick and easy to either do a fried egg, scrambled egg or omelette.and this one I now have has the added bonus that the plates are removed for cleaning. Lots of other things to try for me yet.

Cooking time is great, 5 mins (according to preference) is good, but no where in the TV advertising did it say it would take 25 mins to heat up ready for cooking😕

Looks good and does more than your smaller version
I haven’t actually used it yet, my house burnt out in June, I only intended to reorder your smaller version which I had. Used it quite a lot, but had to be thrown away with all my other electrical equipment. I’m not at home yet, probably on the new year
