The Garden Genie is a rechargeable electric garden sprayer designed to make everyday garden tasks easier, including watering plants, feeding lawns, applying fertilisers, pesticides, weed killer, and general outdoor cleaning. 

 

How much liquid does the Garden Genie hold? 

The tank has a 5-litre capacity, allowing you to cover a large area without frequent refilling. 

 

Does it require manual pumping? 

No. The Garden Genie features one-touch electric spraying, so there’s no manual pumping required. Simply press the power button on the handle to start spraying. 

 

What spray nozzles are included? 

The Garden Genie comes with three interchangeable nozzles: 

  • Cone nozzle – for precise or wide-area spraying 

  • Fan nozzle – ideal for lawns and plant feeding 

  • 6-hole nozzle – for wide coverage 

 

How long does the battery last on a full charge? 

Average runtime is approximately 3 hours 50 minutes, depending on nozzle selection and usage conditions. 

 

How long does it take to fully charge? 

Charging takes around 3½ hours on average. The built-in LED battery indicator shows charging progress and confirms when the unit is fully charged. 

 

How do I charge the Garden Genie? 

The unit charges via the supplied USB cable using a standard 5V USB power source (such as a USB plug or power bank). Fast chargers should not be used. 

 

How far can the spray reach? 

The telescopic stainless-steel lance extends from 35 cm to 54 cm, allowing you to reach hanging baskets, borders, and hard-to-access areas comfortably. 

 

How do I adjust the spray pattern? 

You can adjust the spray pattern by either: 

  • Turning the nozzle head, or 

  • Swapping to a different nozzle type, depending on the task. 

 

How do I clean the Garden Genie after use? 

After each use: 

  1. Empty any remaining liquid from the tank 

  1. Run clean water through the system for 1–2 minutes 

  1. Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth 
    This helps prevent blockages and keeps the sprayer working efficiently. 

 

Can I use chemicals in the Garden Genie? 

Yes, but only garden-safe liquids such as fertilisers, pesticides, or weed killers that are diluted according to the manufacturer’s instructions. 
Do not use flammable, corrosive, or solvent-based liquids. 

 

Is it safe to use around children and pets? 

The Garden Genie is designed for outdoor domestic use only. Always keep it out of reach of children and pets, and never leave it unattended while in use. 

 

What should I do if the spray seems weak or stops working? 

Common causes include: 

  • Low battery → recharge fully 

  • Blocked nozzle or hose → rinse with clean water 

  • Loose connections → tighten fittings

How should the Garden Genie be stored? 

Store the unit in a cool, dry place. If not used regularly, recharge the battery every three months to maintain battery health.
