Yes it can be used on furniture.

Yes it can be used on carpets however we don’t recommend.
Does it work on hard surfaces?
We don’t recommend use on hard surfaces.
Is the brush roller removable?
Yes the brush roller is removeable.
How do I clean the brush roller?
Remove the roller from the unit and using a damp cloth remove any dust or debris.
