FAQs

What can the nutribullet Power Core blender handle?

The nutribullet Power Core Blender is engineered to handle tough ingredients. Its 1200-watt motor and 6-point stainless steel blade efficiently blend ice, frozen fruits and vegetables, leafy greens, nuts, seeds, and thick, dense mixtures.

How much can the XL pitcher prepare?

The 2.1L XL Pitcher is designed for large batches and family-size recipes. Based on standard serving sizes, it can prepare approximately 8–12 smoothies, 8–10 frozen cocktails, 4–6 large bowls of soup, or 12–16 servings of pasta sauce.

What is the total pitcher capacity and maximum liquid fill level?

The total pitcher capacity is 2.1L. The maximum liquid fill level is 2L. Always follow the maximum fill line for safe operation and optimal blending performance.

What speed settings does the nutribullet Power Core blender have, and what should I use them for?

The nutribullet Power Core Blender includes three manual speeds, a Smoothie program, and a Pulse function.

HIGH is best for liquefying thick mixtures and blending frozen fruits, vegetables, and ice into smooth smoothies.

MEDIUM is ideal for creaming soups, mixing dips, grinding nuts, and blending sauces, spreads, frozen cocktails, and milkshakes.

LOW is designed for mixing thin batters, gravies, and marinades; or processing cooked foods and soft fruits. When blending hot ingredients, start on LOW and gradually increase speed to help prevent splatter.

The SMOOTHIE program runs a pre-programmed, timed cycle designed to create silky smoothies from fruits, vegetables, ice, and other nutritious ingredients.

The PULSE function provides short bursts of power for added control when chopping or breaking down tough ingredients.

Can I switch speeds during blending?

Yes. You can change speeds at any time during blending by pressing the desired speed button. You can also switch between blending modes and Pulse as needed for greater control.

Can the nutribullet Power Core blender blend hot ingredients or soups?

Yes. The blender’s lid includes vent slots that allow steam to escape, making it safe to blend hot ingredients and soups. When blending hot ingredients, make sure the vent slots are unobstructed, start on LOW speed and increase gradually, and use caution when opening the lid, as steam may be released.

Is the nutribullet Power Core blender good for families or batch cooking?

Yes. With its 2.1L XL Pitcher, powerful motor, and high-performance blade system, this blender is ideal for families, batch cooking, meal prep, and large-volume recipes.

Can I make single servings with this blender?

Yes. Smaller portions can be blended as long as they reach the minimum 500ml fill line. For best results, mixtures under 500ml are not recommended.

How do I care for my nutribullet?

We recommend washing the blade by hand with warm soapy water immediately after use. You can use a nylon brush to reach hard to reach areas. The blade and motor base are not dishwasher safe. The cups and other accessories are dishwasher safe. When cleaning the motor base, unplug from the socket and wipe clean with a warm soapy cloth.

Are nutribullet cups BPA free?

Yes they are BPA free.

Can I use ice or frozen fruits in the nutribullet cup or jug?

We recommend using frozen fruits such as berries, bananas or mango to make the smoothies cold.

If you do use ice, do not exceed 25% of your total ingredients.

We suggest smaller cubes or crushed such as those from the refrigerator ice maker so that it disperses thoroughly in the smoothie. Also chilled liquid such as spring water, herbal or ginger teas, or almond milk can help to make the smoothie cold without overwatering.

Why am I having difficulty removing my blade from my cup after blending?

Blending creates pressure inside the cup to break down ingredients. Make sure not to fill above the MAX line. The longer your blend cycle is on, the more pressure is building inside the cup. An alternative is pulse blending in shorter cycles.

What ingredients should not be blended inside a nutribullet cup?

Never blend heated or carbonated ingredients in the nutribullet cup, this could cause the cup to pressurise and leak causing damage or injury. Only blend hot ingredients in the jug with the vented lid securely attached.

What are the differences between a “smoothie” and a “juice”?

A smoothie is a blended beverage made with solid and liquid ingredients: fruits and vegetables, nuts, seeds, water, milk, etc. Smoothies are blended using a Nutribullet or traditional blender, and the finished product retains all of the material (skins, pulp, and fibre etc) of their whole food ingredients.

Juice is made by extracting nutrient-rich liquid from whole fruits and vegetables. Juicers separate the solid components of fresh produce (pulp, skin, fiber, etc) from their liquid content, which is then filtered through a spout and into a glass or pitcher for drinking. While juices do not contain fiber, they’re great for a quick pick-me-up, and can help to add an extra boost of fruit and veggie goodness to your day. Fresh juices and smoothies can be great additions to a healthy, active lifestyle.
